If XOMA and the FDA had a set total of
deaths expected, say 36, then I can under-
stand why they didn't want XOMA or the DSMB
to release number of deaths along the way.
Think of the bad publicity as we sit here knowing
20 have died and cheering for the the other 16 to
die so we can move on. It would look and sound
pretty ugly to the layman.

What "real" news do we expect from the DSMB.
We know BPI is safe and they will say so again
but they won't give us a hint on how the trial
is going, right?? They might give us date for
the trial to end but is that all we can expect??
