hey richard, regarding service packs and 95 versions, i am not clear on something mentioned on the ms download site... "After installing the update, your system properties will report version 4.00.950a." compared to something you mentioned in your post... "If you already have version B installed, there's no need for the service pack." these two statements seem contradictory to me. sorry, dense. :) mark
