As you can most certainly imply by the subject (or I guess you all call it a thread) I created, I am new to this internet adventure. I toured some of the other threads in SI, and noticed that many replies have acronyms used in them for communication. Is there someplace I can obtain a list of these acronyms and what their meaning is? This is like trying to communicate using a language I can't speak nor understand. You used one in your response found in this thread. It was 'JMHO'. What does this represent? I've seen so many, but I can't remember what they were. I should have jotted them down. Another response to me in this thread, informed me I could find out more information from making inquiry through the net. Since I'm new to this game, I'll try to figure out how to do this. I didn't realize that that SI was really for Health Issues involving the stock market. Color me stupid. This would be an arena my husband would be interested in. Do you know how I find out where I might join a 'thread' discussion concerning alternative health therapies. I also was informed that my 'handle' or whatever it is called, is 'flameable' or something. I didn't know what to call myself -- I'm a radiological technologist. I've had tons of training in the the medical field, WESTERN that is. Currently, I am more interested in Eastern and European medicine. Since my mother's CA, I've become very disillusioned with the medical trends and pharmecutical companies in this country. Thanks for any help you might consider passing along to me.
