I agree Dennis, this must be standard practice, however, that does not make it a profitable or popular practice. I thought WalMart taught the retail industry that lesson in customer service a long time ago? Why can't CPU learn this valuable lesson? IMHO, it's just a matter of time before someone picks up on this and does a number on CPU or maybe we will get lucky and WalMart will buy them out? Now that's a thought HMMM "SAM'S Computer City USA" kind of has a nice ring to it. I can see it "Sam's Choice Modems" $19.95. Sorry to be facictious but management is starting to p*** me off. I guess I haven't gotton over the credit card incident yet. I wonder how many others haven't either.
