thanks for the insight......I agree....something is better than nothing....I teach music in a high school .....freelance musician for more years than I would like to admit.....I have witnessed the demise of live music and a take over by the so called Disc Jockey....put a lot of musicians out of work....both professional and amateur....I would think that the record companies have little or no choice....the only solution is to say OK ....but we want a cut. IMHO
