Bill,

Although I follow your belief that ATHM is overvalued, I believe it may be one of few "internuts" that ever achieves enough profitability to justify the stock price.

Reasons.

1. I believe cable modem access to the Internet is the wave of the near future. I am personally waiting for access to ATHM and as soon as it is available, I will be a subscriber. Why? Speed, and I hate several of the current ISP's, for various reasons.

2. I believe Cable access to still be in it's infancy. Once it is widely available, I believe it will overtake telephone based ISP's fairly quickly.

3. Will wireless Internet access ever surpass lightwire? I don't know. But unless technology figures a way to transmit signals thru trees, I don't think so. I own stock in LOR, so I am not betting against it.

4. I believe ATHM has a greater barrier to competition than some of the other "high flying internuts".

I am currently considering placing some of my recent profits in other areas in an "internut", simply so I don't watch the whole train go by. I plan on it being a very small percentage of my total portfolio.

Your current thoughts?

Have fun,
Phil

P.S. I am currently long CPU, and IFMX, and short ZONA.
