>>So that being said, you want them to acquire. What do I see?<<
From the Feb. 16, 1999 Q filing for SSII:
"Additionally, on February 2nd, 1999, the Company engaged the services of investment bank Wedbush Morgan to explore strategic alternatives for the Company including, but not limited to, the possible sale of the Company by way of merger or sale of all or a portion of the stock assets of the Company."
From Feb. 9, 1999 Press Release from SSII:
"Sound Source Interactive currently owns a significant number of exclusive worldwide licenses to publish interactive software, most of which include CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and software for dedicated game consoles, based on popular and evergreen children's titles and content."
"These licenses include, but are not limited to: Universal Studios' ''The Land Before Time,'' Harvey Entertainment's ''Casper,'' Universal Studio's ''An American Tail,'' New Line Cinema's ''Lost in Space,'' Viacom's ''Star Trek,'' Warner Bros.' ''Free Willy'' and Universal's ''Babe.''

There are a couple of reasonable prospects in there, SSII has a current market cap of about $4.2M, and is struggling, and Wedbush Morgan is highly familiar with THQI already. It seems this might be a possibility, if THQI is indeed shopping.
