You're Helping Me Make My Case

Bull: I'm sure you know the Cao Limn-Covenas pipeline in Colombia has been down since Thursday, so it's prior loss won't affect markets on Monday. Nice try, though. <vbg>

Anyway, you're actually helping me make my case. Like I said...

<<Just look at the pipelines in Colombia. They get blown apart by terrorist bombs about once a week, and flow often resumes within days.>>

The article you posted stated that...

<<The blasts took place late Thursday, taking to at least 16 the number of rebel attacks on the tube so far this year. The pipeline is the second largest in the country...

Colombia's leftist rebels routinely target energy infrastructure to protest what they see as excessive involvement of foreign multinationals in the country's oil industry.>>

Let's see... 15 attacks (excluding the one on Thursday) since January 1st... (31 days in January + ... let's be generous... 25 days in February up to Thursday)/(15 attacks) = 3.7 days per attack. Pretty quick repairs, don't you think?
