DELL prospered with 12+% growth in Q1 and Q2 of last year because of several factors. One the component costs were dropping 1% per week. Two, CPQ, HWP and IBM all had severe inventory congestion.

This year we do not have the rapidly dropping component prices but we do have CPQ and IBM with a lot of inventory in the channel.
If DELL is aggressive on price and puts the new technology out quickly they will have the history on their side.
