Not always by a long shot! Some of us are libertarians, as I know I have posted here before! As a libertarian, I applauded Pacific Lumber before this prick got his claws into it. It was a company that practiced good husbandry of its resources, gave a good return to its shareholders, and was a part of the community.

When Maxxam came after it, years ago,I remember doing a back-of-the-envelope calculation that suggested that the debt would be paid off about the time the last redwood was cut.

This is not capitalism; it is rape.
