Evening Steve, DELL one of my faves...from a high of 110 and my call to sell at 108, we find that after a climb of 22 boxes and the reversal of the indicators...it has gone south!!!

Lower tops and lower bottoms, until the Buy signal at 84 ...reversing back down to the DB Double Bottom at 78 and 77 would be a DBS "Double Bottom SEll signal"

But to regress...high and low poles are in effect when and issue retraces more than 50% of the move...ie...if it's going up 10 boxes and it retraces down 6 boxes that's a high pole reversal...or if it goes down 6 boxes and retraces up 4 boxes...that's a low pole reversal...I think??????

See the effect, a retractement of more than 50% is a high or low pole reversal....

That said, I'll say that the issue does not always follow this trend!!!

One must look to the overall indicators to figure out the direction of the most likely move/...if up go up, if down look down....

Also look at the sector and the momentum....

Just my Thoughts, and Who would listen to Me?????

Later

Preston
