Really make you wonder about the will and motivation of the UN and US to resolve the matter and at least nail the companies and governments facilitating the arms and contraband diamond trade.
Some big boys have to be making some serious coin or this would have been resolved long ago.

You can't help but draw conclusions about the two types of Foreign Policy practiced by the G-7 nations.
One for fair skinned peoples (and tanned skin if you have oil), and one for the rest...
In Serbia, Yugoslavia, Iraq and the Falklands, there will be and were tanks, helicopters and punitive action. In Rwanda, Congo, Angola, Sierra Leon, and half a dozen other African nations where whole peoples have been slaughtered, no intervention, nothing!
What's perhaps worse, the press, Amnesty International, the Red Cross and a dozen other aid organizations appear to have done nothing to embarrass the big seven into action?
