About 20 years ago, a chicken farmer in Hungary developed cancer (stomach?), and after visiting his local oncologist, was sent home to die. A few weeks later, while feeding his chickens, he contracted a virus from his chickens which is fatal to birds but causes only pink-eye in humans. After his pink-eye healed it was discovered that his cancer had completely disappeared!
My understanding is that this avian virus is also a 'reovirus' and may be similar to the one used in the Calgary experiments. Certain Hungarian researchers have been experimenting with avian virus cancer vaccines with a good degree of success, (so I've read).
Sure hope this works....
