This private placement reminds me of the PP that Cambiex Exploration made in January. In fact they are both structured the same way and have the same dilutive impact, yet the Cambiex private placement did not hurt the share price. On the contrary, the stock has more than doubled since that time.

If you look at the number of shares outstanding that DMW will have following this transaction, it's not that much more than what Lytton will have after their plan of arrangement is complete. Yet Lytton's share price continues to go up despite the fact that they do not have the assets that DiamondWorks has.

The fact that certain people are willing to put $10 million into this company is an important vote of confidence in the future of the company, its assets and viability.
