Scott,

"MM and RJ seemed to say (by phone) that the point was to make comparisons of ALL properties to determine
a) the ores with the highest precious metals concentrations, and
b) the ores that best lend themselves to extraction."

Sounds like clear progress to me.

Though I have concern about a process which may be limited by furnace capacity and electrowinning, I am certainly not opposed in view of the figures presented. Those figures must be proven by production of a significant portion on a continuing basis. Clearly, we cannot switch to any other path here than proven production.

Extremely high values in gold have been reported and mined in pockets in the Sixteen to One mine in California, and in other mines and stories. Tales of the "Lost Dutchman" come to mind here. "There was enough gold in sight to make millionares of 20 men" (at $20 per ounce).

Extremely high values in PGM's are not the stuff of legend. In fact, if most folks kicked a 10 pound nugget of platinum in a stream, they would think it was iron and forget it. That is the only way that I can describe native platinum--it looks like iron which is clean and not rusted. Not glamorous at all.

The highest values reported in the Thomas Report refer to the "Reduced Iron Complexes" at $7000 per ton in the late '80's.

I do not believe that the overall ores on the Oro Grande or any other property approach the values reported.

Can we selectively highgrade? My answer would be an unqualified yes!!

What the samples represent and what methods of extraction and analysis are, I do not know.

What I do know is that we cannot continue without proving our company and its properties through production, and receipt of sufficient funds to fund further operations. We have been promised that production for some time and it is overdue. I would hope that we have not forced Mr. McKay into a situation in which he is rushed to the point of failure. I believe that he is on the right track and I certainly agree with his approach.

So lets not be too demanding if he fails to achieve the "end of March" deadline for "continued production"!

Well, as usual, I talk too much, but not as much as Mr. Marsh in terms of sheer volume. (Claim the World, chuck)

When I think of Charles, I think of the Gordian Knot and how Alexander solved the problem, Jack!
