Pentium III - could it be the cause?? I was recently (January) in the market for a PC. Learning that the Pent-III were about to be released, I decided to put off my purchase in favor of the newer technology soon-to-be released. Could other potential buyers have made the same decision ??? IMO it is very likely that purchases were put off. Therefore, if this is the case then the industry is still alive and kicking. Can anyone verify if there was a similar slump in PC sales prior to the release of the Pentium II ? Thanks SirVinny
