Probably Daytona itself won't have much impact, but it will be the first opportunity for the motorcycle mags to get to test ride one. How their articles come out will have a large impact I would think.

I went to Daytona today to check it out. They didn't have the track ready for test rides, but they did have their display set up downtown, right next to HD. Great display, several bikes, one with the engine mounted at eye level so it could be seen close up. A photographer was taking free pics of people sitting on the bike. They also had one full dressed with bags, lights, and wind shield.( about 20,000 according to the rep.) They had a store set up in the back retailing merchandise.

Looked real good. I found it fascinating that EH was open, but the HD display did not open until tomorrow. Looks like complacency on HD's part. I think they may be under estimating EH, a good thing for EH investors.
