I am loathe to predict short-term market moves; recent put profits fall under the rubric of luck. That said, I expect a dead-cat bounce in INTC (heck, the whole SOX) this week, but I still don't see a happy long-term picture; I'll buy more puts if INTC breaks out.

All the news at the margin has been poor: slowing (perhaps negative) PC revenue growth (#reply-8068404), market share woes (retail #'s), PR flubs (ID), that pesky FTC, not to mention valuation.

Regarding valuation, the only piece I've seen that approaches the quality of this KC Fed article from a few years back:
