If you think last week's stock market activity - or any week, for that matter - has anything to do with one CPU, you are a bigger fool than even I thought possible.

The enthusiasm level for PIII is boundless.

Intel is spending 300 million dollars to convince the world that PIII will speed up the internet. What happens when the buyers get home and find out it is the same dog slow internet they connected to from their Pentium 66?

There are going to be a lot of really angry buyers!
