Sammie, boxes are an unbelievable bargains these days. A friend bought an HP4440 this weekend for $749 and a Pro 17" monitor for $239. Two observations:

I paid twice that much in March '97 for a P166 with a 17" sony monitor (and it still is very usable).

HP must be hurting to be offering a 333MHz system at that price, with retailer margin included. Is there really enough profit potential in this sub 1K market to satisfy Dell?
