Sure, but is he shorting them NOW? If he is, I bet he's not publishing his trades realtime.

IMO, this type of journalism is less than impressive. Every traded stock has taken a huge fall sometime, and/or will sometime. The real question is how much, and when.

Net stock valuations are high because people can easily grasp the potential leverage of its new business model. Just like Greenspan said, many will fail, while a few will justify their generous capitalizations, and then some. Nothing new here, that's how capital is formed and deployed. The art is timing, timing, timing. Which ones, and when? Does he put his $ where his mouth is?

In 1997, AMZN had a "breathtakingly high 300 Million capitalization" according to one pro-net wag. I'm sure O'Shaughnessey thought it was scandalously priced then. Did he advise his clients to short it?
Are they still his clients?

That's why THIS thread is so amazing.
