I have been reading the Medix Boards for some time. I suppose I can summarize. Investors ask, do we have the management in place that is going to make things happen? As a long time investor in Cymedix, I want to go on record by saying I think many here are missing the point.
Up until mid-January, Cymedix (and by virtue of its potential, Medix Resources) had everything in the world going for it, except sufficient funding. Today it has so much less. As late as 45 days ago Cymedix had vision and the core of a management team with experience, years of it. As everybody has probably heard before, the medical information sector is a specialized one. The people do know one another.....and I got antsy when all of the sudden I heard of people asking , "Who is this John Yeros?"
I would have had more comfort had the original plan for the company, that Mr. Yeros explained in his shareholder's letter last May, been followed. We investors were told that this was a company with a special technology, years ahead of the competition in a market measured in the tens of billions $$. We were told that the management structure in Cymedix would remain the same, and added to. We were told in writing that the two parts to the Medix business, the staffing and medical information sides....would trade emphasis with the shift going to medical information as unprofitable staffing businesses were sold. The funding from these sales was to go to Cymedix to develop our product to the next level.
WE WERE LIED TO. SOME OF US MANY TIMES.
As a shareholder with no stake in the everyday running of the Medix businesses, I cannot trust someone working for me, as the CEO of this company does, who lies to me and to the "collective us." I checked the posts this weekend and did some of my own research. These same types of lies have gone on unchecked for years. Senior management, owners of staffing businesses who sold out to Medix, even employees have come to the same conclusion. What Mr. Yeros says is not what Mr. Yeros does. Many of these parties have sued. I am shocked by the number of suits. This company appears to have spent over $1.5 million (cash and stock) in settlements with professionals and businessmen who had disputes with Mr. Yeros. Over $1.5 million. I fear we aren't done with this "settlement" stuff either. The sacking of the Cymedix management is still fresh.
It's past time for change. It's time to protect our company by removing it from this environment and placing it in the hands of those who will grow it to its potential, before its too late. |
