It may be that the government will become overbold when they win this case. However, if any group of businessmen in the modern age deserved to be smacked down a peg, it would be the Microsoft executives who don't know the meaning of the words browser, marketshare, or truth.

I think if you want the interesting and worthwhile litigation, you can look to the Intel trial. At least their, we have hopes of the company executives telling the truth under oath.

I suppose that asking me to understand Microsoft's position in the larger context after all their lying is like asking a conservative Republican to understand Bill Clinton's position during the Lewinsky saga. So yes, I'll agree that *maybe* Microsoft had a case and *maybe* if they just admit their a bunch of liars and say 'even if everything you say is true...' that they shouldn't be disemboweled.
