Dear hlpinout: I think that Geyserville technology lap top if anywhere NEAR the estimates of performance, will be a screaming success. I have always wanted a laptop but not willing to give up the performance I can get from a desktop. As to identity thing, I wish these DOGOODERS would find something else to complain about. It doesnt seem to me to be a big deal. First off, you can turn it off, in fact, I have heard you probably will have to turn it on now if you want it to work, secondly, who cares? Only people likely to use it are the retailers and if you buy on the internet you use your credit card, they can easily find out anything they want from that. Personally, I sort of like the idea of my computer having an identity that cant be stolen!! JDN |
