WPI GROUP, INC. today introduced the world's first rugged,
Windows CE Handheld PC ("H/PC") at their Seventh Annual Business
Partners Conference in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Management believes
that this product, the HUSKY fex21, will transform mobile data
handling by providing users a powerful, integrated package of
technology innovations in data security, expansion capability,
ergonomic flexibility and easy communications. The HUSKY fex21 will be
available to customers beginning in April 1999.
The HUSKY fex21 is the perfect solution for the business world's
rapidly growing mobile work force. This is a computer designed to meet
the demands of the mobile workforce now and well into the 21st
century. The HUSKY fex21 is designed exclusively around the special
communications and risk-management requirements of
business-to-business, industry and vertical market professionals who
work for extended periods in the field. Targeted at mobile users, the
fex21 is clearly differentiated from other H/PCs in reliability,
design, flexibility and wireless communications options.

The HUSKY fex21 combines the latest generation Microsoft Windows
CE Operating System (Version 2.11) with enhanced, Handheld PC
Professional Version 3 editions of Pocket Explorer, Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint and Outlook (Inbox, Calendar, Contacts and
Tasks). The whole system is integrated within a fully ergonomic
OBD structure creating the first H/PC in the world to offer
non-clamshell, professional series computing: the Mobile
Information Device.
