I've installed SP4 in over 250 PCs for my clients. It really improves the stability over SP3.

A word of caution. Install SP3 first. Make the Emergency repair disk using the RDISK /s function from the DOS command line.

SP4 restructures the security databases for user profiles over SP3.

If you have to use the Repair function in Win NT it doesn't rebuild the user profile databases, therefore you will not be able to get back in your PC without a complete rebuild. You will need the ERD to allow the repair function to rebuild the user profile databases to SP3 version during the repair process. Then, reapply SP4 again.

Cheers,
Gregg
