BMI Satellite had an outage of equity trade data friday from the open through 11:51 am. BMI, while acknowledging an event at the next satellite to the west, refuses to admit anything happened to their equity quotes although the indices kept right on tic-ing. It is seasonal sun/satellite alignment time, but why the indices and equity quote data stayed alive while the equity trade data disappeared remains inadequately explained.
