America One Television had Investing in American scheduled for Saturday evening. The show that aired was not WORC or their SWIM. From what I am gathering, nobody has heard or seen any exposure for WORC as the news release stated. Did they get bumped as they did on CNBC? You say we shouldn't blame WORC, I say who else then. They are the ones who have announced CNBC twice and rescheduled it. Investing in America is a paid for imfo-mercial as I understand it. So if they bought the time, why reschedule it, TWICE! Fridays news wasn't much. You can blow their horn and say they are going after exposure. I say they repeated what was basically in the 1/29/99 release but added some radio spots. Where is the exposure? Nobody has seen anything on America One TV yet.
If you like, I can give you America One TV's web site where they include their schedule for programming. You can even watch the programming from your computer. As for contracts, help me here. They expected their first order in 4 weeks. If it isn't the same as secured, then you must explain this one to me. Who would order first, then secure a contract later? I would love to do business with these people. Correct me if I am wrong but first you bid, then you negotiate a contract, then you place your order. If they expected their first order in four weeks (note: we are now in the fifth week) when was the contract secured? Where is the news of this contract?
TAP. You are defending this company which you should since they have paid you to promote them. But how about getting us a "little" more information here. You also have a responsibility to your followers and subscribers. I think it is a fair question about the spots. If the company said they would air, why didn't they? If the company said they would have contracts in 4 weeks, where are they?
Looking forward to your response. Please don't quote the releases. You like to tout when upcoming news can be expected. I propose a new tactic. Find out when we will hear of some contracts with SWIM and start touting that. This would be far better than these lame news releases about exposure that doesn't materialize and rescheduled CNBC spots. Give us a reason to believe in this company and hold. That's what PR people do. They don't announce news, any hypster can do this and be right half the time. PR people promote the company.
Thanks,
