I can only imagine what your life... and others with the same Bipolar-disorder must be like. Also I can see your concern when it comes to physician assisted suicide.

Physical pain is awful, yes, but many people believe severe depression is as bad as a severely physically painful condition.

Yes.... perhaps you are correct. This week at my father's funeral I found out that a second cousin of considerable business fame and wealth is no longer with us. He recently shot himself while seated on a park bench... little did I know he was being treated for manic depression. Seems that the doctors aren't really needed if one has ambitions to discontinue his or her existence.
