hey wacko..OT inflation.. My cursory examination of the NY metro real estate market indicates that prices are up as much as 20% over the past year in the hot areas and somewhat less in the rest. Real estate accounts for a hefty chunk of most peoples expenditures. When we keep hearing this "no inflation" mantra, is it that the fall in commodity prices is neutralizing asset inflation or are assets like real estate simply not part of the equation..? Any idea? TIA ..Dave
