I agree completely. I did not see your original post, so I "assumed" atAuction. But, I agree that all aspects of a company's operations, especially from anyone's hands-on experience with that company is important to these strings. Because the nature of the High Tech industry's volatlity and fast change, the traditional investment research, financials and press, must be balanced with some of the hands-on information which we can communicate. The Internet has been known to "bury" a company, if exceptional bad experiences are shared by many. Iomega, and Syquest have suffered tremendously due to bad postings in News Groups as well as investment strings, from people very dissatisfied with one aspect of those companies or another, not related to stock performance, but to product and service issues. |
