Off to Washington they go, where this all ends nobody knows. biz.yahoo.com United States District Court in San Diego, CA has denied its motion to overturn the jury verdict in its patent infringement lawsuit with SIBIA Neurosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIBI - news). The Court also denied Cadus's motions to grant a new trial and to reduce or set aside the $18 million damage award by the jury. Once the Court enters judgment against Cadus, Cadus will immediately appeal the judgment. The appeal will be heard in the Court of Appeals by the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C., which specializes in appeals in patent cases.
