I'm betting on the company that's been working full-tilt on the problem for the past year now.

It seems this is what we all are doing. The real question is, is this a smart-money bet? What evidence do we have that 3dfx has made real progress in this area other than vague references? Even if this is true, wouldn't our money be better placed elsewhere until the Chipset Formerly Known as Rampage is released? Just food for thought.
