Beverly Hills, March 1, 1999, Modern Records, Inc. ("the company") (VSE:
MZR.V: OTC Bulletin board: MDNR) announced today that The Jacksons are back
to create and produce an album which will be their first release on the
Modern Records label. Randy Jackson is president and CEO of Modern Records.
The legendary Jackson family has been a recognized leader in the
international recording industry since 1969 when the first Jackson 5 single
was released on the Motown label. The Jackson 5 went on to release fourteen
Motown albums and later, as The Jacksons, released seven additional albums
on the Epic label.
In 1997 the Jackson 5 were inducted as the youngest group ever to the
Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame validating them as one of the most successful
music groups of all time.
Founded in 1990, Modern Records, Inc. produces, licenses, acquires, markets
and distributes high-quality recorded music. In 1997, Randy Jackson became
president and CEO of the company and continues to assemble a quality
management team including music industry, business and finance
professionals.
