Sorry to drill this home, but I would like to clarify the point that these current Metro DWDM systems seem to be a generation behind what the MetroFusion Architecture offers. They are not 'dynamic'. Look over the Cienna stuff & tell me this does not require lots of lasers & receivers, 'configurable' more or less, but expensive & high maintenance. ciena.com ciena.com "New nodes can easily be added to the ring and new channels can be easily added to existing nodes." Isn't this adding new laser 'channels/colors' for every link required? And check out the graphic, looks like lasers & receivers required for every posssible/potential connection. Would seem to be costly & complicated compared to the NAC products. ciena.com NAC's products may truly be 'lightyears' ahead of its competitors. Regis
