No, the semis are not a dead cat, this is a normal retrace down exacerbated by a slew of analyst downgrades. INTC sold down to support at 122-125 under pressure from the DELL due to potential slowing of revenues and sold down again recently to 115ish due to CPQ warning and a punch more downgrades. PC market has little to do with INTC's future and will have a diminishing role in the semi sector. Totally underwhelmed with analyst ability to forecast, I shall return to the sector for trading again after Friday's employment numbers.
