I am not comfortable dealing in any issues denominated in other than US$. Given the avarice of the middlemen just on the manipulations of the bid/ask, I am even more squeamish when a currency conversion variable is introduced in the equation. I would not be more inclined to invest if the listing were on the Toronto Exchange. I am more comfortable with NASDAQ:BB stocks than with Canadian issues. I hold a position in a Canadian that trades on the Vancouver and the NASDAQ:BB. It is amazing the liberties that are taken in quoting the shares. Although they are the same issues, it is impossible to correlate the price accounting for the US/Canadian currency cross.

With the new reporting requirement for BB's,I hope that these some of the riskier plays will be screened out and a better market form for the reporting companies.

As to the name reference, the presence or lack of capitalization in the spelling would not have mattered. Without a contextual reference, Wi-LAN conjures nothing to me. It sounds Chinese. It may affect others in a similar fashion. Maybe not. Just thought it was an idea that you might want to consider.
