Anthony,
I want to bring up a subject for your radar screen which is....drum roll..... If we have a market correction which EVERYONE is calling for...at least the Bob Brinker's of the world who the masses listen to, and the crash link given earlier should not be taken lightly...I've watched it for quite a while as a neurotic/fun pastime....kind of a daily ritual that has been pretty meaningless because the last -10 I believe was right before the Oct. crash/correction...but it just turned -10....ANYWAY -- One great opportunity for shorting during the last downturn was the leisure stocks. As an example, take a look at RCL...which is Royal Caribbean Cruises. It has started what appears to be a major downtrend and when ANY fear gets into the market---ALL TRIPS ARE OFF. These will be some of the FIRST stocks to take a hit in my estimation. I believe they are a good prospect for shorting in the present climate...esp. with any further downturn. I haven't tracked a lot of them in this sector ie. tourism/leisure...but I'm sure there's a lot of turds out there. IMO even the gems in the industry are going to get hit....BIG. Hopefully we can all consider. What do you think? Also, did your run earlier make you feel better... or just get you REALLY PISSED OFF? HA! A seal doesn't run to release energy, he runs to ATTACK. congrats.
