>> How many computers do you have...2, 3 , 5?
How many apps running on your computers...2-3?

At home? Lessee. 5. Aps? Hold on. 68, give or take a few. Probably 12-15 running at any given time. LAN.

As for my organization, I have no idea. 32 desktops, mostly Power Macs. Two servers, plus a mail server. A couple other machines, but I have no idea what they do. Aps? Again, no idea. About 20 on my personal machine, but I don't bother with the rest. We hire folks to take care of that.

>> I run 80 programs / applications (on one computer)....bugs happen all the time.

80 loaded, or 80 running? I assume the former. We have occasional glitches, most likely due to System 8, but as I said, we hire professionals to manage our assets, so most problems are few and far between. Certainly nothing daily and nothing that we would consider routine. No tolerance for that sort of thing.

>> How many viruses have you run into? I am up to 6, and that's very low, some people I know have had a hell of allot more than that.

Me personally? One. On an AOL floppy. No surprise there. An occasional one on our network, but again, professional managers, who know how to protect our assets. Of course, we do get an occasional hacker, but you could tell me more about that.

>>have 10's of thousands of dollars in Windows programs, can't afford
to upgrade at the present to a more stable system.

At home? Now why do I find this hard to believe.

>> You know dick about computers right?

His name is Peter, actually. Don't know the names of his assistants. Not my worry.

As for what you know about any of it, see my previous posts. My opinion has been stated clearly and concisely, and you haven't yet provided me with any evidence to refute it.
