Maurice: Your are correct a price war would be bad for both companies. If AMD can keep a high asking prices for the K6 certainly profit margins will be up considerably. If there is a price war then profit margins won't be as high. However if there is a price war AMD may take a larger market share and make up the revenue in the volume of sales.
