Re: "Can't put that one on Hillary.
The dependent, helpless woman went out of style in the '80s and got replaced by the independent, resourceful style. I was glad to finally see someone in the Oval office with a modern wife. Hope the next term doesn't bring in the usual "charismatic male leader with dependent trophy wife on arm." It would be nice if the USA could catch up to other countries (e.g. India, Canada, England, etc.) and even finally have a female (gasp) as President. Amy J "

I must disagree with you Amy. You are mistaking image with reality. What we have is a wife who lacks the integrity to throw the bum out. This is a weakling who keeps hoping someday he will change. This is exactly the kind of woman the feminists should be condemning, for empowering the abuser, that is if he were a Republican, being a Democrat there is no limit to what he can do with feminist approval. Would a rapist be condoned if his name was Clarence Thomas or Richard Nixon? I don't think so. Hillary stands by her man because she has no guts, and no integrity, nothing more.
