My ideas and reasoning. First, take a look at the advance/decline line. Very ugly and getting worse. Second, look at the number of new lows verse new highs. that is ugly also. Lastly, watch the leaders. The internet leaders have faltered lately and some of the others are looking weak.
Now, look at some charts and you will see what I mean. More stocks (70 %) are trading below their 200 day moving average. OUCH.
But then again, this is just my opinion.

Now for my short watch list of high flyers starting to show weakness. AEIS ALTR AMCC ANN ASTE BBY BVSN CACS CBXC CDWC CHTT COF COLTY CREE CSGS DELL DRIV EFII ELNK EMC EXDS FLEX GEOC GLIA HLYW INKT INSS ITVU JBL LCOS LGTO LU LVCI LXK MACR MNMD MU MWHS NITE NOKA NSIT NTAP ONSL ORCL PLCM PMCS PRGN PVN QLGC QLTIF RATL RESM RMBS RNWK SANM SCH SEEK SEPR SMTC SUNW THQI TWRS

For charts, go to yhoo. The list is too long to post it as a link.

And lastly, some I like on the long side for possible covered calls.

Hope this gives some ideas. As I said, it is my opinion that we are seeing the start of a 10 to 25 percent down correction or maybe even a "bear" market. One last short prospect..... dell.

good luck and happy trading. The market will always present us with new opportunites.
