You seem to be on the right track. It is probably too early to tell where we will wind up, but I suspect that we will somehow manage to do it somewhere. Together.

Personally, I would rather be at home when the Odometer clicks. Possibly barred in and armed.

At the same time, I can't really accept that partying 'til dawn on 1/1/2001 will have the same frisson as partying 'til dawn on 1/1/2000. *sigh* One more reason to hate computer programmers, like we needed it.
