SDCOZ-Spiros/Dura ASTI-Allergan Specialty/Allergan CNDO-Crescendo/Alza Punch in Farallon Capital at Edgar and you may come up with more. They make a habit of building stakes in these as sort of souped up bond plays. The ones I list are true r&d spinoffs in that the parent companies derive revenues from them and have predetermined buyouts in place. Does your interest have anything to do with the proposed changes in accounting treatment of these r&d spinoffs?
