Hi Mile

Reflections

I have been giving some thought to the recent events concerning the Caminio delay.
What strikes me first of all is either the poor comunication between rmbs and INTC; or the sudden change of direction. At the press conference on Jan 23 Hammon announces the "2 step approach", with the 600MHz version in June and the 800MHz in September. Not 4 weeks later, the 600mhz has fallen off the map. Strange

Secondly, who or what is causing the delay? Is it really technical problems matching RDRAM's into the Caminio chip set, or is it that INTC has other more urgent problems elsewhere? I can find enough published evidence to support both cases
