Yeah, losing 30k was NOT a pleasant experience, to say the least. Luckily, I didn't need the money right then (or now), so I was able to get through it without looking for sharp objects (I did have my eyes on a couple of dull ones, though...). I'm glad that I didn't panic and throw what little remained into mutual funds--I really would have punished myself then, given that E*Trade jumped from $10 to $120 in about 2-3 months... If you think that you have good companies, then hang on to them; if they're dogs, then take them to the pound... And by the way, it appears I was wrong about ELCO (Elcom Systems) --they've changed their business plan and now looks like the next hot internet stock. Folks might want to check it out...
