Able Telcom Holding Corp. Awarded $58.9 Million Virginia Department Of Transportation Contract
  WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Able Telcom Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ABTE - news) announced today that its subsidiaries Transportation Safety Contractors (TSC) and Georgia Electric Co.(GEC) have been awarded the Virginia Department of Transportation project valued at $58.9 million. The project is a Traffic System comprised of closed circuit television cameras with associated transmission equipment. This project also consists of upgrading the existing Traffic Control Center and integrating all devices through a central computer system. This job is being bonded by AIG.
