However, the upshot is some great intelligence... Expect an announcement from Ericsson and Qualcomm within the next two weeks regarding the 3G IPR issue. Looks like they settled. Ericsson will buy QCom IPR to gain more market share of the US market, whilst QCom agrees to licence its IPR on favourable terms and joins the big boys. Unless of course, someone throws yet another spanner in the works. But this comes from a good source, trust me.
