VSE Awarded GSA Information Technolgy Services Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- VSE Corporation (VSE) (Nasdaq: VSEC) reported that its Information Technology Services Division was awarded a contract to provide professional information technology services to federal government agencies under a General Services Administration Federal Supply Services contract.

Professional services offered through the GSA contract include system integration, software maintenance, database maintenance, conversion, Y2K solutions, integration services, training, LAN/WAN planning, design and interoperability, internet and web page design, network equipment, installation and support services and various weapons systems support and services including logistics.

In addition, the contract provides VSE with a vehicle to offer its full suite of voice, video, multimedia and videoconferencing at several of the company's locations. The schedule also provides VSE customers with the capability to purchase perpetual software licenses of VSE subsidiary CMstat's configuration management software and related support services through CMstat Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE.
