Interesting comments about voice recognition. Dragon Systems,a private company founded in 1982, is to have an IPO in the next few weeks. A story was in the NY Times 3/1/1999. I gather from the story that the more powerful the computing power is, the quicker software developers can make advances; which should lead to a much larger market and lower priced software. When this happens, people will not ask why they need a P3 or whatever it evolves into; a killer app will be here. IBM,Phillips Electronics NV and Microsoft are all developing speech-recognition software. How much more demand will there be for DELL computers? I am not a technical person, so someone who is, please comment. Fred
